Rhubarb

A backlit small leaf on a flowering stem. The ripening seeds are behind.

I don’t eat this giant rhubarb, but I love the huge dark green leaves and the tall flowering stems. It doesn’t flower every year, and sometimes it doesn’t even come up, leaving the ground bare for a season.
