Silent, Starry, Night

Firstly a huge THANK YOU for your bouquetin birthday presents, just had time to have a look at him again.

Now the Swiss half of the family has left, it is very quiet around here. This was taken with my new lens, a tiny, 45mm "portrait" lens, so I took a "portrait" of the Dents du Midi, the snow shining in the moonlight. It managed to pick out the stars too. Next challenge has to be a star trail; how do I do that please?

I hope, like us, you all have some quiet time now, too, with great memories of 2015's Christmas. I shall catch up with you tomorrow.
