Sad and wet

After yesterday's nightmare of emergency responders, ambulances and A&E we were looking forward to our Mince Pie special on the Worth Valley Railway. However Mother Nature had other plans and the horrendous rain we have been subjected to meant that the railway line and a lot of the rest of the area is badly flooded. So we have had a day being housebound. Arrrgh!

Sadly Reggie is off colour but Mr H and I did get out on foot with him for a short walk to have a look at the beck by the malt shovel.

Hopefully tomorrow the floods will recede and people can try to start the long process of rebuilding their homes and businesses. Stay safe every one.
