Wee Willie Winkie

A day of recovering, a wee bit shopping (very little) a lot of lounging, just perfect for Boxing Day.   

We have called this little fellow Wee Willie Winkie for fifty years now.  When we were first married we lived in Canada, and we had a party at Christmas in 1965 (ok, bear with me.....).  We asked each guest to bring a little surprise gift and we had a lucky dip..... and we got Wee Willie Winkie.  

Don't know why we called him this, but it just stuck.  Over the years he has adorned our tree each year.  When the girls were small they used to take turns to put him on the tree. 

He is part of our Christmas!
