First day on the beach

Big day today. Mum is 75 years old and it was Kilda’s first trip to the beach. Weather has terrible wet, cold and windy. She enjoyed running on the sand but wasn’t too impressed by the sea, still a bit cold this time of year. Me and J went up town first thing for her to get a new bag. It wasn’t in the sale but she did get a new folder thing instead. Kilda had lots of attention outside Mulberry.
After lunch we headed up town again so the girls could go skating. It was raining too much to do it. Kilda got soaked again and we headed home early, as she was getting cold. Spent the afternoon catching up on blips before a night in front of the TV.
