Boxing Day walk

During the summer we did a treasure trail around Covent Garden and thoroughly enjoyed it. So, I bought one for Wimbledon Village to do today.

First we met up with our dear friends for a quick drink and catch up and two of their three sons decided to join us on the trail. We split up into two teams... Boys and girls. Meeting up at intervals in one of the several pubs around the village. Of course the best team won...us girlies. Although we got the suspect right we didn't get the correct weapon!

A collage from this afternoon...coming out of the first pub there were people gathered around and we had just caught the end of some Morris dancers ~ great village atmosphere! The girls group selfie and the youngsters...Natalie (Josh's girlfriend), Rebecca and Lucy.

Rebecca bought me a trail for Christmas and I will look forward to doing it later in the year.

Forgot to mention that Ruby also joined us on our walk and after 5 hours of walking and visiting pubs she (and Mr C) are exhausted!
