Brightening Skies

I know it is too soon for the longer days to start to take effect but the place felt brighter today!  I sometimes think that an Easterly wind makes the place seem clearer which is obviously a silly thing to say but today it would seem to be true. 
What we do benefit from is being very open - no high mountain fjords or trees to hide what light there is and the sea gives the impression of it being lighter than it is.
