Horse And Groom

A lovely morning walk with the family, friends and dogs to the local pub where the local hunt gathers. The riders and horses look wonderful. Their dogs are so beautifully behaved. Such a popular event. They don't kill foxes! I love it as I see neighbours and other friends I've not seen for ages. It's so nice that we all take our dogs too. My two were beautifully behaved. They love meeting other dogs. It's nice being out in the fresh air.
Home for a very lazy afternoon. I'm not cooking. There is so much left from yesterday that needs finishing.
I made some mince pies and there was only one left. I actually thought my boys must have really enjoyed them....but no...Maisie has enjoyed them. She is a terrible food thief. I'm grateful though as it stops me picking at them. I've over indulged enough.
Out to friends tonight. I'm looking forward to that.
