Old oak tree

The oak is the one in the middle. It's been dead for some time and is for the chop before too much longer - it could even have been today which is what led me to take this photo. We are hoping that it will solve our firewood problems for some years to come, although the logistics remain to be worked out - where will we store it, can we get it cut into a size that we can work with...
