Day 205: Wet

The boating lake is overflowing, not something I have seen before but hardly surprising given the volume of water that has been falling from the skies. What a nightmare for folks facing yet more floods, my heart goes out to them.

The dog, who is blessed with more beauty than brains, took an unscheduled dip in the lake when she misjudged where the edge was. Comedy splash, shocked dog face and some frantic scrambling followed - not sure her waterproof coat helped much. She's getting her own back by ensuring the house has a faint whiff of damp dog.

Sarah and I are now watching Inside Out - after a couple of sherries my eyes are struggling to stay open..... must be all this lying around and doing nothing.
