Squall

I had no idea there was snow in the forecast today. But snow it did!  A crazy heavy squall moved through the area just in time for he drive home.  It made for some slippery roads and slow going.  Unfortunately my oldest, who was at the mall with friends when the snow moved through, fell victim to the icy roads on her way home when she slid into the car in front of her at an intersection.  No injuries and no damage to the other car.  Minor damage to our car and a lesson learned. Why do these lessons keep costing me money!?  

On a better note, my wife is home from the hospital following her knee surgery.  She has a long way to go to be fully mobile again, but we're glad to have her home and on the road to recovery!
