Birdoswold

We took a break from cycling and had a look round an old Roman fort. It was almost completely ruined but it had an interesting museum. We had a lovely cycle today and surprisingly we stayed dry for most of the day. Then at the end there was a torrential downpour and we were all relieved to be warmly welcomed at the B and B.
