Its all been a bit wierd

I think I prefer Christmases with all the family and all the chaos that that entails. Plus I like all the stuff....the special tablecloth that comes out, carefully thought out games, arguments n all that jazz.

We've had a good Christmas for sure, but as it was just us presents were on the sparse side, we ate Paella on account for eating turkey at least 3 times over the festive period and although Ben had fun with us; he face-planted and cried and cried when we spoke to Nanny who was hanging out with all his cousins without him.

We'll join them tomorrow and will probably opt for a bigger get together next year. And by tomorrow my Mum will be doing my head in, I'll have fallen out with my sisters and I'll be wishing I was back home in Leeds. Grass is always greener and all that.
