Ouch 5

Well much to my amazement, I was discharged from 'the Dorchester' this afternoon. Having fixed my brace ( in photo - I have to wear it all the time apart from sleeping ), I did a trial walk with some crutches on and passed with flying colours. Added to the fact they had an influx of patients, I think they needed the bed back.
So I'm back home in my lovely bed and have Mrs P as my nurse. It's going to be a long slow recovery and one I don't look forward to.
Blips will be all within the confines of the house or garden for some time, but I'm sure I'll find some interesting subjects.
Thank you to all who sent messages of encouragement - they are much appreciated. On my hospital. Ed blip kept my spirits up!
