Statue
This little statue is handcarved out of stone, by locals. It is about 40cm tall, and I only discovered how heavy it is when I carried it around to blip it today!
According to our housegirl, Patricia, he resembles the people of the Lozi tribe.
She says his headdress is an indication that he was of a higher rank, most probably a Tribal chief or king. The container hanging over his right shoulder is to carry his beverage, most probably homemade beer! Yummy! He holds a music instrument in his right hand,
Unfortunately my Internet was off for more than 50 hours, and I do not want to take the chance of losing connection before I published, could not really check if Patricia's information was 100% correct.
