Christmas orange

I associate mandarin oranges with Christmas and remember when I got one in my stocking when I was a child, always a treat!  When I peeled this one a couple of days ago, I thought that the way the piece that runs through the centre of it stood up was quite cool and set it aside for a future photo.  This morning, the peel had dried and curled up.  I set it on a mirror and took the shot.
I hope all you blippers have had a lovely Christmas day.  We went for a walk in beautiful Ruckle Park and I'm looking forward to our dinner - coho salmon with veggies - yum!  So fortunate, we are. 
The full moon on Christmas Eve was spectacular!  I wish I got a better photo of it, but I'm including it as an extra.  The halo around it was huge and beautiful.
