Christmas Eve

The shopping is finished (the shops are now closing), the Christmas presents are wrapped, there is a lovely smell of cooking coming from the kitchen, and the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols is being broadcast from Kings College, Cambridge.

Now I know that Christmas has really started, and we can relax with the family and enjoy a few quite days at home.
