Brazilian Nativity

Merry Christmas to all my followers!
My sister gave me this handmade Nativity Scene many years ago when we spent Christmas with them in Brazil! We added some fake snow to the scene - probably a bit unrealistic!
Can you spot the rooster in the group? Maybe Daveen or someone can explain the significance of a rooster at the manger scene - makes sense to me, but not typically a part of the usual Crèche.
