Merry Christmas Across the Pond
We've had a lovely low key Christmas Day. It was my turn to make the breakfast then I left Tony reading in bed whilst I cycled round my circuit exchanging seasonal greetings with other cyclists, runners, dog walkers and folks going from A to B.
Back at home it was time to prepare the duck and the veg and to sample the mulled wine which needed several samplings before it was okay to drink! Jen and Pete arrived early afternoon and we pulled the crackers and basted the duck and ate trifle then settled down to skype Becky and Rob and Rob's mum and dad, Margaret and Alan, who are over visiting them in the States for Christmas. Felice Navidad was revisited and much munching of Divine chocolate mint thins and now we are relaxing in front of Doctor Who.
Merry Christmas to all Blippals, fingers crossed we will be back here this time next year - lots of pledging please! If northern Blippals are around on the 16th January, please consider taking part in one of the fund-raising events for folks affected by the floods in Cumbria, to be found here!
