Silver Studded Blue Butterflies
On the 24th of June I blipped this Click here, I called them a Common Blue Butterflies. Since then I have been out to the same place with my CC, one of the guys is very knowledgeable he told me they were Silver Studded Blue Butterflies, he told me they are much rarer than the common blue. I did take some images that evening but did not blip them as a I had already loaded an image for that day.
Today it was dry and I had sometime I thought I would go over there again, this time to get the underwing if he butterfly which is very pretty. The image you see is not very sharp, but I wanted to blip it because it is of the male and female having a bit of a tiff, and you can seethe underling, I had very little time to take this image, the wings were flapping at a great rate all the time.
