High Fens - Winter Solstice

a micro adventure with Jack and Dirk.

Leaving home at 5.15  reaching Baraque Michel 7.15 still dark. Watching day break walking the High Fens. Only stopping for some tea and sandwiches.
Arriving at the cafe at 12.30 for some hot chocolate / Rochefort beer. After the a quick visit at the highest point in Belgium ( the Signal de Botrange at 694 m) driving to Eupen.
In the late afternoon checking in in the cabin of Camping Westertal.
