This was the first Christmas for a long time that hasn't been at my house and it was a real treat.

We had the whole family together at Graham and Bec's. They moved house last weekend so it was a strong performance putting on Christmas dinner as almost the first meal in the new kitchen.

We did toy with the idea of a beach picnic as they live very close, but when we saw the bumper to bumper traffic inching past their house at 12:15pm we were glad we had decided to stay at home.

Some of us did venture down to the water late this afternoon but only John and Helen went in.

Except for this girl. I thought swimming was one place you didn't take your phone, but I guess some people can't go that long without a selfie.
