Conducting carols
I was all set to post a view of the traditional candlelit service in the run up to midnight. For as long as I can remember it has been a feature of the service that it is lit by candles. Over the years they have been moved closer off the pews and onto high level arches. It's still a great sight.
I nipped up to the old organ gallery for some views of the body of the Kirk. The choir - in great voice - was stationed there and while I waited for a louder moment to squeak my was out I caught sight of the conductor's shadow on the wall.
A much more unusual blip for Christmas Eve.
