Diamonds are Forever

After a couple of weeks of rainy days I thought- screw it- I'm going to embrace the weather. Thus here is a picture of raindrops on the long leaves of a plant just outside my back door. Obviously the raindrops cannot be absorbed by the waterproof, waxy cuticle on the upper epidermis of the leaf (Biology A level- BOOM!) so they looked like little diamonds :)
