It's been a very mixed year on the allotment but as luck would have it we can boast eleven fresh veg for Christmas dinner :-)

OK the sprouts are few (and tiny), the flower sprouts may be an acquired taste but the King Edward potatoes will make great roasties and the cauli gave us Cauliflower Cheese today with plenty left for the morrow.  Add in onion, carrot, parsnip, calabrese, purple sprouting broccoli, leek and a beetroot ..... will we have room for turkey?
