Christmas Eve

I went out to see if I could see Santa. The stars were out but there was no sign of him, only the moon. 

100% illuminated, 14 days old, 376,903 km away. 

Crib service this afternoon, building up the church crib with figures as well as the children dressing up to make a live crib. And we had a real baby. Her Mum asked the other day if she could take part and play Jesus, she's only four weeks old and was tiny! In the full tableau at the end I took her and had a long cuddle while finishing off the story. Very therapeutic for me, I didn't want to give her back! Mum was over the moon that baby had taken part, she said it was so special for her. 

Will shortly be going out to the Midnight service. Three more services to go!
