My free flowers.....

....from a very kind lady!   These were given to me rather than be put on the recycling heap.  A florist cannot use flowers that are already open.  I managed to catch them in a rare shaft of sunlight this afternoon. 

A lovely visit from our son and grandchild at lunchtime - we shall see them again on Boxing Day - and I cooked the ham (see extra) whilst R made loads more mince pies to take with us to our daughters on said Boxing Day!!

I wish you all a wonderfully happy and peaceful Christmas whatever your beliefs may be.  We are off to the midnight service in our church later.  Always a good start......
