Christmas Carol

Mr H's parents are here for Christmas, and it happens to be Carol, his mum's birthday. This is her birthday cake, lemon drizzle. Given her husband, one of her sons, and her only son in law are retired firemen the candle seemed appropriate.
Mr H took them out for a birthday lunch while I was at work, and we are now all settled in, waiting for Santa to come down the chimney. Hope he has firefighting leggings on as we have lit the log burner!
