Heron View

Before we get on with our last Christmas Day preparations, we went for our lakeside walk at Trentham Gardens.

What with it being Christmas Eve and nasty weather this morning it was wonderfully quiet in the gardens. There's always lots of bird life, which included this heron and a couple of dab chicks (little grebes) this morning.
