I believe that these two humble acorns are a metaphor for blipfoto.  I have just read today that blippers outside of the EU are now able to donate to the future of blipfoto.  

I have decided to make an appeal to as many blippers I can over the next four weeks to encourage them to donate to keep blip alive.  I can't believe that one of the most positive websites in the world has not got a future.  Perhaps I can encourage all of my blip buddies to do the same.  I know from reading your comments over the past few weeks that you all feel the same way as I do.  

I fear that there may be blippers who haven't yet caught up with what's happening and perhaps by posting a comment on their journal it might be the trigger they need to step up to the plate and register their support.  It's one way that I can see I can make a difference from way down here in Australia, thousands of miles from blip central.
