Sleigh bells ring

Most of the day spent driving south after a lengthy preparation and sorting morning. Day dreaming and planning all the way. Stopped at Leicester to meet up with H after cant think how many years and we chatted and reminisced and reviewed how the kids have all turned out for a couple of hours. Lovely to hear her perspective on it all...miss not seeing them so much, so it all gave me plenty more to contemplate on the last leg of the journey.
Arrived and plonked myself on the sofa next to the Christmas tree...tired! Chatted with K&K til late then came over to K&T's brand new house -all looking lovely-and climbed into bed very tired. Feels like the holiday's ready to begin (and I've even remembered my passport!!)
