"The Shard" Christmas lights

This Christmas we have seen a plethora of winter lights in local gardens. Most are  modest and tasteful.
But a “new kid on the block” has installed a 50ft high lighting system, already christened The Shard, on to a fir tree in his garden.
 

What do you think? neighbours are divided. Some love it. Others think it’s a  bit OTT.
