With Longer Lens, Warmer Clothes & Proper Wellies.

Woo Hoo....work finished now for the next 12 days. We are off down to my Dad's tomorrow for a few days and am looking forward to seeing both my brothers and their respective families. I am quite impressed that at the age of 83 Dad is doing Christmas lunch for 12 people...Eldest went down on the train yesterday to help him prepare for us all.

I have to confess to leaving work slightly early today and I wanted to try to photograph the flocks of birds that congregate on the estuary, but they were too far away and the tide was too high (you can just about make them out infront of the bridge)..one day I will have to go there complete with a longer lens, warmer clothes and proper wellies...
