Nearly

I had to take the mother-I-law and hubby to the bus station this morning - first thing this morning!
Everything went fine until we were nearly at St Andrew Square - then it got snarled up .... and it took longer to get out of the town centre than it did to get in.

After getting home I had a few minutes rest before heading off to the other side of Edinburgh to take the monsters to the cinema.
On route we very, very  nearly got taken out by some crazy mare who went to go from the outside of the motorway and off at the exit we were beginning to pass. The kids learnt a couple of new words then!

The Cygnet freaked with delight when we were in the cinema foyer and he saw the Minion outside. The Minion heard him (through 2 sets of double glazed doors!) and was delighted at the reaction.
The Cygnet was more delighted with rummaging about in Minion's sack to find a lollypop she was happy with (see extra picture).

So we sat and watched the adverts, the two annoying girls doing gymnastics at the front, the trailers and the certificate grading .......... then the film broke!
No film today then .................

On the way home we stopped off at one of SWMBO's sisters.
That was a hit with the monsters .......... a nice new dog to play with and  mince pies -- home made mince pies!
