Rock Garden

Another wet, rainy day here, met with freespiral in our local cafe to finalise our reorder for a postcards, which are selling very well indeed!
It was quite late in the day before the rain stopped and I managed to get out for a walk, the grass growth has been quite incredible while I've been away, just hoping we have a dry spell to make a bit of hay. The stone crops are in full flower and were looking very cheery against the grey rock. I find the plant succession on rocks interesting, from lichens and mosses to small plants and then shrubs like this gorse and even trees will establish in the crevices!
