We Wish You a Merry Christmas

...... & a Happy New Year !

Merlot wasn't too keen on the hat but then I bribed him a little & he was more keen...

1st job this am was to cut the greenery from the garden. We always cut holly & ivy & bring indoors just because we love to see it indoors & because it is traditional. Then when C had gone to see her Mum I wrapped all the presents whew & then I drank a beer & now whew I'm drinking another.... Merlot is doing what he does best this time of year & is sleeping in my chair. I have also peeled some spuds for tea & turned the gammon which is roasting merrily away in the oven.

It is still mild & the heating has been off since lunchtime.

The coming couple of days are going to be busy & so we may not have time to write much but we hope you all have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year; and lets hope that Blipfuture ensures that this like minded gang of folk continue to share their lives with one another, giving help & support when it really matters & publishing a picture every day ..
