Meet with Sherlock

You probably asked yourself when you first see this photo: Is it a dog, a cat or a panther? Well, it is a huge, fluffy, pitch black, male cat which weighs about 7-8 kg. He is my boy and his name is Sherlock. And he is the only boy , besides my daddy and my best friend, that I am grateful for.
I've never wanted a sister or a brother because I've always been too possessive about my parents. But pets have always been replacing for siblings to me. So many cats and goldfishes have come and go. Don't get me wrong, we didn't abandoned them. Goldfishes died, some cats also died and some ran away. But Sherlock was always there. He has been with us for five years. Believe me, if he had been created as a human being, he would be the ideal boyfriend. He eats when you eat, sleeps besides you when you sleep, reassures you when you are sad, warms your feet up when they're cold, walks on your back when you need a massage, answers you when you speak and hugs you when you need. He is the cat version of nobility. Also he is very possessive to his family and way protective than a dog (I also had a Golden Retriever for 13 years, he passed away two years ago and he never figured out how to protect the house or his family.) Finally, you can carry him like a bag and he comes after you wherever you go. What could you ask more from a boyfriend? Probably nothing besides wishing him to be a human being. My friends mock me time to time saying I'll be one of those cat ladies with tens of cats. But I'm happy the way I am until I find a human being as caring, smart and cute as Sherlock.
