Independence Day

July 4th came a day early in Hancock, New Hampshire.

I've never really mastered the art of photographing fireworks, but managed to get a few reasonably interesting shots. I chose this one (SOTC) mainly because of the sky in the background -- almost like an oil painting. It wasn't quite dark yet so the smoke and the trees were illuminated.
