Look there comes the steamer,(as an old Dutch Santa Claus song goes).
I managed to bring the slides  of my father in law from  1943 to 1967 into my computer and it was a pleasure to work a bit on them. He loved traveling and this picture I just loved for the colors and composition. No idea where and when it was taken.

Thank you all very much for your congratulations on my 2 years blip(s) and  all your stars, kind comments and hearts. My future blipping will certainly not be more frequent than now. To be honest, I am giving my camera a well deserved rest and am doing lots of other things.
Springlike temperatures outside, but it is supposed to be very cold and snowy on Christmas eve. Should it snow, I will get the camera out again :-)
