I Want To Believe...

Since I have been blipping there's been a number of occasions when I've felt things that have happened were more than co-incidences. Avoiding the greater being discussion, some things seem meant to be.

I was struggling for a tinytuesday blip idea today until Mrs C suggested this one at 23:20 as we arrived home. It's a long story but I'm going to tell it.

Soon after I got my current car, I decided to secure a couple of cables that threaded their way around the driving position for my phone etc. and I used these little sticky clips. Ms H has been regularly using the cable for her own toons on her phone which resulted in one of the cable clips coming off. I ordered some more and they arrived a few weeks ago, but I didn't get round to fitting them until tonight as we headed out for a family Christmas meal. We had locked the door when I decided to run back in and put 2 in my pocket which I stuck on then. I had thought I should have got another one out, but at least it was secure for now. So we were sitting down for the meal, and first thing was obviously to pull the crackers. Not only did I unusually win the contents of my cracker, but one of these clips was inside!! Argghhhhhh!!

Eh? Eh? How many co-incidences... the one day I decided to put these clips on, but am one short, not only do I sit down in front of this cracker, but I win it and the prize was the third clip I wish I had used! Surely that is more than a co-incidence.. please tell me...

It must be written in the stars... and I did see what looked like a shooting star over Edinburgh on the way in, which is unusually given how bright the sky is. Yup, I believe in something, dunno what it is tho'!

Is it Santa? Have I really been that good? Whoever heard of prizes like that in crackers anyway?
