Whalley

Had a lovely lunch at the Calves Head with Angela. Poor John hasn't been well since they got back from Mexico so he didn't come with us. Hopefully now he's seen the doctor he will start to feel better. I walked to the bridge over the Calder in Whalley and took this photo before my hair appointment. It was also obvious that parts of the village had been flooded last week. I decided I was fed up with my hair so Della used a different colour, it's a bit more plummy and a bit shorter as it will be 6 weeks before my next appointment. Had pizza and a catch up with Pat. A really nice day with lovely friends.
