A Christmas Tree Archie!

School holidays! Oh how I remember that delicious feeling!! Made up for all the stress and hard graft in the weeks and months leading up to it.

Bailey and her mum came this afternoon to pick up Archie for a last run up the Hill. J goes off down south to her family in England for Christmas, but it's better to leave Bailey behind, so that she can fly down (and not drive down like last year). Bailey is staying with us for a day or two, and then friends are taking her to Aberdeen for Christmas Day. Archie is pleased.

So presents were exchanged - lots of doggie ones of course. And J was delighted with her special calendar from Archie. The words 'Not another schnauzer calendar! ' did not pass her lips...

JR was given this present by a young friend, which had to be opened before Christmas - a schnauzer tree decoration. Brilliant. Though Archie seemed a little puzzled by it...

More Prosecco this evening... I think the cold has finally gone!
