Happy birthday Mum

Today is Mum's 89th birthday. She hasn't had the most splendid of years so today was a low key celebration. I took a small lunch over to her flat and we toasted her birthday with elderflower presse.

The care workers who're currently helping her out popped in with a bunch of flowers which was very kind and unexpected. The jug is , we think, Kirkcaldy Pottery and Mum has had it for about 60 years.
