Footprints

'Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts'.

This certainly applied to Falmouth PC Andy Hocking, who passed away suddenly earlier this year. Much liked and admired by the local community, they have dedicated five of these memorial footprints around Falmouth in his honour.

Inscribed with ' A stranger is a friend you've yet to meet' reminded me very much of this community and how important it is to so many of us.

Lucy and I popped into Falmouth first thing for a quick browse, stopping off in Penryn on the way home to visit a lovely little glass making shop that was featured on Countryfile on Sunday. I bought a little tree decoration for mum and a glass bauble for us.

This afternoon we all popped back to Falmouth to have afternoon tea in one of the hotels overlooking the grey sea and sky. It was lovely to be treated (again!!) but not one of the best teas we have had.
