Out of the darkness

The cold that has been lurking at the back of my throat for a few days has now developed into occasional violent sneezing. Oh dear, perhaps I've caught manflu - is that possible? Luckily I was able to hunker down and do some work from home.

Both the large and the tiny phalenopsis plants decided to start on flower spikes a couple of months back - in fact, I just found that the first showing was back in September. The first flower on the tiny one opened today. Very mysterious beings, orchids.
