Shortest Day

It's also known as the start of Winter here.

I saw the sun come up and I saw it setting.  Now can it please make the days longer quicker.

I noticed today that an Hotel near the City Centre is being opened for Refugees.  I'd often thought about blipping the sign for it but I felt it was probably unwise to be photographing things owned by the American military in these suspicious times.  The hotel was called The American Arms (there was definitely a dark sense of humour at work there).  You can do a search on google maps to see where it is.
