Went into Manchester in the peeing down rain to watch a rerun of the 1987 movie Predator (hence the title.)

The promise of watching an original 35mm print was changed at the last second so that we had to watch a Blu Ray version on a cinema screen. As my mate Chris said "wish I'd known before we sat down, I could have just watched the Blu Ray at home."
Quite right too.
Lovely picture and all that, but not the scratchy original celluloid beauty we both thought we were going to see.

At least it had stopped raining by the time we left. The urban night colours were quite special.
