Where does it all go?

Went for coffee this morning to a large Garden Centre. At this time of the year it doesn't have much to do with gardens. It should be renamed a Christmas Centre.

A vast indoor area is entirely devoted to every conceivable thing related to Christmas.

If we went back at 4p.m on Christmas Eve there would clearly still be mountains of stuff left even though everything would be half price.

What happens to it all?

Apparently much of it goes to auctions and is sold at almost give away prices to people who have large amounts of low cost storage space like old didused barns. Next November it will be brought out and sold to small shops at a large profit.

Its an odd sort of world.
