Everything happens for a reason

Ahhh, the old adage 'everything happens for a reason'. It never really stuck with me, but as I age, yep that's right folks.... I'm nearly 30, I'm starting to understand it a little, plus hindsight, what a wonderful thing!!
Christmas and new year, mulled wine, home alone on the tele, auld Lang syne, oh and also the time nearly 11 years ago my halls of residence caught fire
