Winter solstice

Its a very wet and windy day. Everywhere is muddy and murky.
But Christmas has begun for me with the purchase of a traditional italian panettone. I've just eaten my first homemade mince pie. Baked not by me but from a village bakery.
Perhaps the sun will come out tomorrow and I can blip a sunny winter scene.
